Well-Being becomes Excesses

Starting hexagram

What this change means

Three lines move, the first, fourth and fifth, and the Lake now floods the Wind below: Well-Being becomes 28 Excesses. Both judgments count equally. Well-Being describes harmony, with support coming in and what wasn't good for you moving away. 28 Excesses describes a strain so heavy that only unusual measures will keep your gains from giving way. The combination is a warning wrapped in good fortune: the blessings are real, but the structure holding them up may be under more weight than it can bear. Check your foundations and strengthen them. Be willing to try something new and step outside what's comfortable, because doing nothing tends to lead to loss. The image speaks of standing alone without fear when needed. So enjoy the good, and don't let it lull you. Look under the surface, shore up what bears the load, and act boldly before the beam bends further.
