Gentleness becomes Darkness

What this change means

Fire forms below and Earth above as four lines move: light sinking into the ground. Two unmoving lines carry the message. The third says a small stroke of luck lets you move ahead, but the obstacles aren't overcome yet; don't celebrate too soon, and stay alert until they're fully past. The fourth says you'll be allowed to see the causes of your difficulties, which helps you act quickly and withdraw to safe ground before adversity takes over. The resulting hexagram, 36 Darkness, describes a dark time spent alongside the wrong people. Protect yourself, keep your integrity, and don't display your light or talents openly. Hard times pass too. Stay alert, understand what's behind the trouble, and keep a low profile.

Even if you don't see much progress, success will show itself through the build-up of small actions and through seeking the support of those above you.

Constancy brings good fortune. Regret vanishes. Nothing that is not favorable. No beginning, yet an end. Three days before the geng day, three days after the geng day: good fortune.

  7. Line 6 of 57 Gentleness

  8. The judgment of 36 Darkness

However hard they seem, hard times pass too.

    Constancy in hardship is favorable.
