What this change means

Four lines move, the two lowest and the two highest, and the lake rises toward Heaven. The third and fourth lines don't change, and in the resulting hexagram, 43 Overflowing, they guide the reading. The third says circumstances may lead you to ally with people who aren't fully trustworthy; act clearly and keep your integrity despite gossip, and you'll succeed. The fourth warns against pushing ahead at all costs when it's unwise and refusing advice. After The Traveler, tension is building. Bring things into the open, but carefully, with words that don't provoke. Ease the pressure with generosity. Above all, listen to good counsel and keep your own conduct clean. Stubbornness is the trap here. Clarity, honesty and a willingness to hear others will carry you.
