The Traveler becomes Overwhelmed
What this change means
A lake drained of water forms as the second, third, fifth and top lines change. The first and fourth lines stay put, and in the resulting hexagram, 47 Overwhelmed, they shape the advice. The first says that in hard times your inner strength is your main support, so keep it above all. The fourth says helping others in hardship matters, but that help has to come quickly to work. From the uncertain road of The Traveler, this becomes a time of pressure: obstacles hem you in, and your words may not be believed. Accept the difficulty and wait for better conditions. Rely on the light inside you. And when someone near you needs help, give it promptly. Waiting for yourself doesn't mean making others wait.
