What this change means

Mountain upon Mountain: the third, fourth and top lines move, and the thunder of Passion turns to stone. Equal weight goes to each judgment. Passion's describes an infectious drive toward action and the need to consider others' needs. The resulting hexagram, 52 Abiding, describes a time of stillness: staying centered and steady, stopping calmly and waiting for conditions to show you it's time to act. It's almost the reverse of where you started. Enthusiasm wants to move; this moment wants rest. Don't treat that as defeat. Stillness can protect what your energy has built and let you see clearly before the next step. Keep your thoughts where they belong, don't reach beyond what's happening now, and trust that the time to act will become obvious.
