Abiding becomes Passion

What this change means

Thunder bursts out of the earth: the third, fourth and top lines move, and the reading balances both judgments. Abiding asks for stillness and patience, centered and calm, until the outside shows it's time to act. The resulting hexagram, 16 Passion, brings a drive toward action that you can share with others to gain their help, enough to take on big projects with resolve. For those projects to last, keep the needs of the people working with you in mind, not just your own interests. The movement is from rest to enthusiasm. Let the energy rise, but don't let it sweep away the calm that prepared it. Lead with warmth and care, not only fire. Enthusiasm that includes others tends to outlast enthusiasm that only serves you.
