Inner Peace becomes After the End

Starting hexagram
Resulting hexagram

What this change means

As the second, third and fourth lines move, Fire forms below and Water above: water resting over fire, everything balanced for a while. The two judgments are weighed equally. The starting hexagram describes a calm that lets you accomplish great things, nourished by people whose energy is close to yours, as long as you don't drift into inertia. The resulting hexagram, 63 After the End, speaks of a passing success. Everything may seem to favor you, but a period of stagnation follows, and preparing ahead can soften it. Together they warn about the comfort of arrival. When things go well, it's easy to stop paying attention. Enjoy the calm, keep your aims alive, and use the good time to get ready for the slower stretch that tends to follow.
