What this change means

Wind below and Water above take the place of Fire and Thunder as four lines change. What guides you now are the unmoved third and sixth lines of the resulting hexagram, 48 Right Action. The third observes that you have many talents but aren't using them all, so opportunities pass by. The sixth says you have every ability needed to seize the moment, and a wish to contribute to those around you, and that success follows. Between them is the whole lesson. Coming from the fullness of Abundance, you're in the right place at the right time; the risk is postponing. Don't look for something new. Use what you already have, decide, and put it to work for others as well as yourself. Delay is the only thing that can waste this.

    You have all the talents and abilities to act and seize the moment, and you also want to contribute to those around you: there will be success.

    Water is drawn from the well: do not cover it. There is sincere trust. Great good fortune.

  3. The judgment of 55 Abundance

    You're growing toward a period of satisfaction and abundance. It will last for a while, and when it ends, stay calm, without sadness or worry. Enjoy it while it lasts, and when it wanes, keep your spirits up and enjoy what you've achieved.

    Success. The king reaches it. Do not grieve: the noonday sun is fitting.

    It's a very favorable time, but it asks for determined, energetic action from you to make the results greater.

    Meets the lord who is its match. Even for ten days, no fault. Going earns esteem.

    Although you're resolved and conditions are good for getting what you want, the wrong people are standing in your way. If you keep doing what's right and don't let yourself be pulled off course, you'll succeed.

    Full is the awning: at noon the Dipper is seen. Going earns suspicion and harm. If there is sincere trust that unfolds, good fortune.

    The shadows and obstacles that came up for a while are beginning to fade. If you act wisely and decisively, everything will go well.

    You're willing to listen to advice and act on it; this will make difficult situations give way naturally.

  8. The judgment of 48 Right Action

    You're at a moment when opportunities are on your side. But if you don't know how to use them because you keep putting off decisions and actions, being in the right place at the right time won't do you any good. It's not about looking for new things but about making use of what you have, or there will be loss.

    The town is changed, the well is not. Nothing lost, nothing gained. They come and go, and draw from the well. Nearly there, the rope does not yet reach the well; if the jar breaks, misfortune.
