What this change means

The three upper lines move, and the thunder above becomes wind: wind and thunder together, each strengthening the other. Three lines move, so the two judgments carry equal weight. Shock asks you to meet the unexpected with calm and control, which is how you succeed where others don't. The resulting hexagram, 42 Increase, describes a time of gain and growth in which projects prosper. Stay whole inside, learn from people who already show the qualities you want, and drop the traits that have caused you trouble before. The two together say that the shaking can feed growth if you let it change you. When you see something good, move toward it; when you see a fault, correct it. Be generous with what comes.

Thunder, shiver upon shiver; the eyes restless and lost. Setting out brings misfortune. The thunder strikes not oneself but the neighbor: no fault. Over the marriage there will be talk.
