Decline becomes Overflowing

What this change means

The Lake rises up to Heaven as the bottom three lines and the top all move, and Decline becomes 43 Overflowing. The fourth and fifth lines of the new figure stay still, and they carry the counsel. The fourth warns that you want to push ahead at all costs when it isn't wise, and that refusing advice will bring trouble. The fifth says that keeping your integrity and not straying from your path, whoever you have to deal with, will resolve the difficulties that arise. The resulting hexagram describes pressure about to overflow, with situations that need to be brought into the open carefully and eased with generosity. So the release from stagnation comes with a risk of rushing. Slow down and listen to those who advise you. Stay on your path, speak carefully, and let fairness, not force, settle the tensions.

It's a time to act generously to ease the tension that's there.

It is proclaimed in the king's court. A sincere cry: there is danger. Word comes from one's own city. It is not favorable to take up arms. It is favorable to have somewhere to go.
