The Army becomes After the End

What this change means

Fire takes its place below water as four lines move, the first, second, third and fifth, and the campaign of 7 The Army reaches the far side of its crossing. Read this one through the two lines that stay put, the fourth and the top. The fourth warns that carelessness in a time of expansion can bring old, unresolved matters to light, so stay alert and put them right. The top says this is a period of advance, and that retreating or stopping now would bring trouble.

The resulting hexagram, 63 After the End, describes a passing success where everything seems to favor you, followed by a slower stretch you can soften by preparing ahead. So keep moving, but keep your eyes open. Settle loose ends while things are going well. Watch for complacency after a win; the discipline that got you here is still needed to hold it.
