Thrift becomes Attraction

What this change means

Four lines move, and a lake comes to rest on a mountain: 31 Attraction. The reading goes to the two lines that stay unchanged, the fifth and the top. The fifth says that stillness, without trying to steer people or events, brings achievement. The top warns that if you try to win others over with words alone, without actions to match, your gains will be modest. So after a time of restraint, the next step isn't to talk your way forward. Stay open and receptive, and let people who'll support you come close of their own accord. Keep your words few and your actions consistent with them. Measure applies to speech too. When what you do matches what you say, you don't need to persuade; you attract, and that kind of support tends to be generous and free of self-interest.
