Transformation · lines 4 and 6
The Vessel of Nourishment becomes Going Up
What this change means
The fourth and top lines move, and the Fire above becomes Earth: a tree rising out of the ground. The top line leads with its jade-handled vessel, great good fortune and favor from every side. The fourth sounds a warning: wander off your path or lean on the wrong allies, and the vessel can topple. Together they say the blessing is real, and it depends on keeping your aim clear and your company sound. The resulting hexagram, 46 Going Up, describes a rise that's the fruit of dedicated work, and says seeking the help of an important person can bring great success. So reach upward. Don't be afraid to approach someone who can help. Just make sure you're asking for the right thing, for the right reasons, and with the right people beside you.
