Transformation · lines 4 and 6
Going Up becomes The Vessel of Nourishment
What this change means
Fire above wood, the cauldron over its flame: the fourth and top lines move. The top leads with its climb in the dark, asking for tireless steadiness and a clear hold on your goal. The fourth brings the arrival, goals reached and recognition earned. The resulting hexagram, 50 The Vessel of Nourishment, describes a natural change, slow as food cooking, kept going by enthusiasm and by a clear sense of your resources. So recognition isn't the end of the process; it's part of a transformation still underway. Keep the fire lit. Know what you have to work with, and let things cook at their own pace. Even if parts of the way are unclear, holding your purpose steady is what lets the change come to a good end.
