Transformation · lines 1 and 4
The Vessel of Nourishment becomes Great Achievements
What this change means
Two lines move here, the first and fourth, and the vessel's Wind and Fire become Heaven held inside a Mountain. The fourth leads with its warning: drift from your purpose or team up with the wrong people, and the cauldron's leg breaks. The first line offers a remedy: emptying out what has gone stale, even if conditions aren't ideal, can still lead to a good end. Read together, they say clear out bad ties and old habits before you go further. The resulting hexagram, 26 Great Achievements, shows what becomes possible once you do. It's a good moment to leave your comfort zone and try actions beyond what you think you can manage, because you have the qualities they require. So purge first, choose your company carefully, and then aim high. The strength is there; it needs a clean vessel and the right hands.
