What this change means

Wind follows wind as the four upper lines move, and Clearing Obstacles becomes 57 Gentleness. Its first and second lines stay as they are, and the advice is theirs. The first says not to give in to indecision; going back and forth delays success, and firm action is better than wavering. The second speaks of being held back by dark forces you can't identify, and suggests it can be wise to seek out people whose magical practices may help you move forward. The resulting hexagram says gain comes through gentleness, choosing a path and keeping to it steadily, with support from those above. So be gentle in manner but firm in direction. Pick one course and stay on it. If something unseen seems to block you, don't face it alone; look for help from those who understand such things.
