Innocence becomes Clearing Obstacles

What this change means

Thunder and rain break loose: lines one, two, five and six move, and Innocence becomes 40 Clearing Obstacles. Its two unmoved lines carry the guidance. The third warns that acting high-handed and boasting about your achievements draws quarrels and envy that can take away what you've gained. The fourth asks you to release unreliable ties and loyalties that would only slow you, so you can move on freely. The resulting hexagram says obstacles have been overcome, and that balance matters now: act quickly where you can, without overrating yourself, and rest if you need to. With Innocence behind it, release means staying modest and clean. Don't advertise your victory. Quietly loosen the bonds that weigh you down, forgive what can be forgiven, and keep moving lightly.
