Wealth becomes Nourishment

What this change means

Thunder beneath the mountain, the shape of an open mouth: three middle lines move and abundance turns into a question of what you feed. 14 Wealth calls for a centered character and for good deeds and generosity, so that what you have endures and benefits others. 27 Nourishment, the resulting hexagram, asks you to look after your physical and spiritual nourishment and to help others grow through what you do. Weighed together, wealth is a means of feeding, yourself and others. Look at what you're consuming: food, information, company, habits. Keep what strengthens you; let go of what empties you. Be careful with your words, too. Then share what nourishes, since giving and receiving belong to the same cycle. Prosperity used to sustain life tends to last; prosperity used to fill time or impress people rarely does.
