What this change means
Four lines move, from the first through the fourth, and Thunder now bursts out of Earth: Well-Being has become 16 Passion. With this many changes, the guidance comes from the two lines of the resulting hexagram that stay still. The fifth warns that drive mixed with anxiety, without time to rest and recharge, makes achievements rise and fall. The top line adds that passion can blind you or burn up the very interest behind it; if that happens, notice it and ease off, and you can still succeed. The resulting hexagram describes a strong pull toward action that you can share with others to win their help, as long as you keep their needs in mind and not only your own. So the good season becomes energy. Use it with resolve, but pace yourself, rest on purpose, and step back when enthusiasm starts to cloud your judgment.
What to read, in order
Marked ● is what Zhu Xi's tradition puts at the center for this number of moving lines.

Constancy in sickness: it lingers and does not die.
- Line 6 of 16 Passion, which stays still
It's important not to let passion blind you, or let it burn up the interest itself. If that happens, recognize the moment and relax: that way you'll succeed.
Delight in the dark. What is done changes. No fault.
- The judgment of 11 Well-Being

- Line 3 of 11 Well-Being
There will be ups and downs. Don't despair: enjoy the calm moments and act with caution in the face of danger.
No plain without a slope, no going without return. Constancy in hardship: no fault. Do not grieve over its truth; in eating there is blessing.

Fluttering. Not rich, with its neighbors. Not on guard, with sincere trust.
- The judgment of 16 Passion
A time of passionate drive toward action. You can pass this passion on to others to gain their help, which lets you take on big projects with resolve and optimism.
