The Traveler becomes The Fall

What this change means

Two lines in the middle move, the fourth leading the third, and the figure becomes a mountain resting on earth. The fourth says that even with comfort and material gain in reach, constant distrust and worry can eat away at you. The third warns that losing your kindness and turning aggressive tends to bring trouble. Both describe an inner state that undermines a good position. The resulting hexagram, 23 The Fall, describes a hard time when your words may not be believed and people who misuse power are on the rise. Pushing ahead won't work; generosity toward those beneath you helps you hold on. So protect yourself without turning bitter. Don't let suspicion or anger make things worse. Stay kind, keep a low profile, and wait for the circumstances to change.
