What this change means
Only the fifth line moves, and the Lake above turns to Thunder: lightning and thunder arriving together. This is the line of change that happens with authority and without strain. The great person changes like the tiger, whose stripes show plainly, and trust is there before any divining. Renewal comes naturally, as if guided by a higher will that shows you how to act. You don't need to force anything or ask for proof. The resulting hexagram, 55 Abundance, shows where this leads: toward a period of fullness and satisfaction. It will last a while, and the counsel is to enjoy it fully and, when it wanes, to stay calm and keep your spirits up. Act from that clarity now. Let the change be visible and confident, and don't cling to the high point when it begins to pass.
