Biting becomes Observing

What this change means

Wind over the earth replaces thunder and lightning, as the first, fourth and fifth lines move and Biting becomes 20 Observing. The two judgments carry equal weight, and they set a useful order. Biting wants decisive action and clear limits. Observing says to look before you act. Right now others may be watching you for inspiration, and you, in turn, need to watch those who inspire you. The point isn't to give up firmness. It's to make sure your firm action rests on a clear view. Take time to see the whole situation, including your own part in it, before you bite. Then act, and do it in a way others can learn from. When action comes from observation, it tends to arrive at the right moment instead of too early.
