What this change means

A lake that drowns the trees appears when the first, third and top lines move, and the weight on the structure grows too heavy. Three moving lines bring both judgments into balance. The first concerns a dangerous step taken safely: with awareness and a gentle manner, you can pass where force would get you hurt. The resulting hexagram, 28 Excesses, describes a time that calls for extraordinary measures to keep what you've built from collapsing: check and strengthen the foundations, act innovatively, and step out of your comfort zone. Together they say that careful steps alone are no longer enough. The load is real. Look at what holds everything up and reinforce it. Then act with unusual boldness, but keep your manners and your awareness of others. Courage without care would only add to the strain.
