What this change means

Thunder bursts out of the earth: the second, fifth and top lines move, and the tension of 6 Conflict turns into drive. The two judgments are balanced. From the starting hexagram: no action will untangle this, so use wit rather than force, patience with events, and wise advice.

The resulting hexagram, 16 Passion, describes a passionate drive toward action that you can pass on to others to gain their help. For it to succeed and last, you also have to consider the needs of those working with you. Together, the energy that was fueling the conflict can be redirected into a shared project. Don't spend your fire on the quarrel. Watch for enthusiasm that serves only your interests, since that tends to restart the very conflict you're leaving.

  4. Line 5 of 6 Conflict

If you've acted rightly, whoever has to make the decisions that involve you will decide in your favor.

    Lawsuit. Great good fortune.
