What this change means

Four lines change, and the mountain sinks inside the earth: the figure becomes modest and low. The reading follows the still lines of 15 Simplicity. Its first line says that doing great things without pretension or pride lets you bring your aim to a good end, because you'll meet no opposition. Its fifth line says that if you hold power, you shouldn't abuse it, but you shouldn't overlook others' mistakes either; observe, and act in measured ways. The hexagram asks you not to boast, to keep things simple and fair. For a crossing still underway, humility is the safest vessel. Do the important work quietly. Use whatever authority you have with restraint and fairness, correcting what needs correcting without harshness. Let your qualities speak for themselves.
