What this change means
Fire rises above heaven as four lines change, and the figure becomes great possession. The reading looks to the still lines of 14 Wealth. Its first line says this is the early stage of wealth and obstacles may arise; keep to honest ways and simple action, and progress continues. Its third line warns that greed, or using wealth only for yourself, brings difficulty and loss, while generosity opens new possibilities. The hexagram speaks of abundance, inner and outer, which lasts when you stay centered and generous. After the passing success of the start, this is a fuller prosperity, but still young. Keep your conduct simple and honest. Share what you gain. Generosity is what turns a temporary success into one that lasts and reaches others.
