After the End becomes Immaturity

What this change means

A spring breaks out beneath the mountain as five lines move and only the fourth stays. That still line of 4 Immaturity is short and direct: dreaming without acting leads to failure. The hexagram itself says you don't yet have the maturity to reach what you want in this area; act with humility, ask for guidance and put the advice into practice. After a success, it's easy to drift into imagining the next one without doing the work. This movement warns against that. Admit what you still need to learn, find someone who can teach you, and apply what you're told. Turn plans into steps, however small. Action, guided by good counsel, is what keeps you from sliding from success into stagnation.

  8. The judgment of 4 Immaturity
