Success in Small Matters becomes Decline

What this change means

Heaven and earth pull apart as the third, fifth and top lines change, and the channels between people close. Both judgments share the weight. The starting hexagram points to small things over great ones, and says that stretching past present resources sends you off course. The resulting hexagram, 12 Decline, describes adverse people and situations around you, and asks you to avoid involvement with them no matter what they offer, withdraw to a safe place and keep a low profile until conditions change. Both counsel restraint, and the second presses it further. This isn't the time for decisions or bold steps. Turn down tempting offers from the wrong quarter, keep your efforts small and private, and protect your integrity while you wait for the climate to shift.
