Success in Small Matters becomes Meeting
What this change means
When the third and fifth lines move, the lake comes to rest over the earth, and scattered things begin to gather. The fifth line leads: your humility draws people who will act on your behalf, like the prince who takes what is hidden in the cave. The third line keeps you alert, since carelessness and excess bring trouble, and someone following can do harm if you don't guard yourself. The resulting hexagram, 45 Meeting, describes a favorable situation for the next step: you can ask for help and meet those who will support you, and it's wise to prepare for the unexpected. The two lines fit together well. Gather your allies, approach them with modesty, and keep your guard up while you do. A good meeting is more likely when you've also thought about what could go wrong.
