Release from Obstacles becomes Immaturity

What this change means

The fifth line speaks to a time of deep division, when selfishness is everywhere. Its answer is to aim for unity, even when that means giving way further than seems fair. The old image is a great proclamation that pours out like sweat, and the king's own dwelling scattered and shared: whoever holds the center gives up something of their own so the whole can hold. As this line moves, the Wind above becomes Mountain, and the hexagram becomes 4 Immaturity. That's a sobering turn. Wanting unity isn't the same as knowing how to bring it about. You may not yet have all the maturity this situation needs. Act with humility: ask for guidance, listen to people who've done this before, and put their advice into practice. Generosity opens the door; learning is what lets you walk through it.

  3. The judgment of 4 Immaturity

Be aware that you don't yet have the maturity you need to reach what you're after in the area of your question. Act with humility: ask for guidance, seek advice and counsel, and put what you're told into practice.

Success. I do not go looking for the ignorant youth; the ignorant youth comes looking for me. The first time the oracle is asked, I answer. A second and a third asking is an offense, and an offense gets no answer. Constancy is favorable.
