What this change means
Wind moves over the lake when the fourth and top lines change, and the still water begins to ripple. The top line leads: if your inner peace isn't real, shallow amusements can pull you along gradually until you're lost in them and no longer in control. The fourth line shows where the choice lies, between serenity and indulgence; one brings inner joy, the other hollow pleasure, and once the harmful thing is set apart, gladness comes. The resulting hexagram, 61 Inner Integrity, says that when you're whole inside, it shows outside, and your truth can move others toward great things. So the answer to being pulled is wholeness. Choose serenity, cut off what fragments you, and let a consistent inner life become what others can trust.
