Overflowing becomes After the End

What this change means

Fire rises beneath and Water settles above as the second and fourth lines move, with the fourth leading. That fourth line describes the urge to push forward regardless, ignoring counsel, and the trouble it brings. The second line offers the remedy: act with decision, but read the signs and take precautions when they call for it. Overflowing is a time of pressure that needs to be let out with care. The resulting hexagram, 63 After the End, describes a passing success: things seem to line up in your favor, and afterward a quieter, stagnant period tends to follow. Preparing for that ahead of time softens its effects. So enjoy what goes well without assuming it will continue. Listen when others warn you, keep watch, and use the good moment to put things in order for the slower time that comes next.
