What this change means

The resulting hexagram, 48 Right Action, warns that capacity isn't enough on its own. Opportunities are on your side, but if you keep delaying your decisions and your actions, being well placed won't help. It isn't about looking for something new; it's about using what you already have. Together they ask for follow-through. Don't wait for a better chance. Decide, act, and draw on the resources already within reach. A strong hand that never moves achieves nothing.

The town is changed, the well is not. Nothing lost, nothing gained. They come and go, and draw from the well. Nearly there, the rope does not yet reach the well; if the jar breaks, misfortune.
