Transformation · line 3
Passion becomes Success in Small Matters
What this change means
When the third line moves, the Earth under Thunder rises into a Mountain. This line speaks of delight that looks upward, waiting on someone else's favor, and it says that delay brings regret too. Its practical core is timing: success lies in acting at the right moment, not too early in borrowed hope and not too late out of hesitation. The resulting hexagram, 62 Success in Small Matters, adds the scale. It's not a time for grand moves but for small achievements; overreaching past your means wastes effort. So your passion has to find a modest outlet. Stop looking to others to tell you when to begin, and don't let the right moment slip while you wait. Choose a small, concrete step, take it when it's due, and let your enthusiasm do careful work rather than big gestures.
