Well-Being becomes Leaving Behind

Starting hexagram
Resulting hexagram

What this change means

A Mountain sits under Heaven: five lines move, all but the third, and Well-Being becomes 33 Leaving Behind. The third line stays in place, and its warning matters most. It warns that if, just as you're leaving something behind, you let circumstances tempt you to stay, you'll need allies to make even a little progress. The resulting hexagram says that stepping back now isn't a bad thing; it helps you recover strength, think clearly and find how to set things right. What looks like a loss can turn into a gain if you let go of what isn't good for you and then start again in the right direction. So the season of peace is ending, at least in this matter. Leave cleanly. Don't linger because the old place still has its comforts. Keep a calm distance, without resentment, and save your strength for what comes next.
